Purchasing Administrator required on temp to perm opportunity for our manufacturing client based in Coseley. Reporting to the Manufacturing manager you will support the Supply Chain activities at the site Coseley.
Working closely with suppliers to ensure that goods are ready and shipped on time in order to meet production requirements. The individual will need to work from their own initiative and communicate and coordinate with the wider purchasing function on a daily basis.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Placement of purchase orders and monitoring of existing purchase orders in line with business requirements
Escalation of any potential supply chain issues arising
Check availability of stock for production areas
Essential Skills & Experience required
Strong IT skills including Excel
Able to negotiate with suppliers and be flexible, is capable of proactive and reactive communication
Good organisational Skills
Strong attention to detail
Methodical working approach
Temp to Perm opportunity.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday
Starting Salary: £10.00ph
