EHS Advisor required initially on a 6 month contract (Maybe extended to 12 months) for our Global Blue Chip company based in Wolverhampton
We are looking for an EHS Advisor who may recently graduated or someone of EHS Advisor level in a low risk environment looking to get some exposure to more complex systems in a high hazard industry.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Site Manager you will play a key part in contributing EHS improvements across the site. Primarily you will assist with the Gensuite build and implementation and also assist with site EHS procedures.
The successful EHS Advisor will be responsible for:
Assisting with the Gensuite build and implementation
Monitoring standards and procedures
Creating a positive health and safety culture through training and coaching
Identify SHEQ risks and develop effective risk reduction plans
Maintaining the ISO management systems
The ideal will possess as a minimum:
Understanding of key EHS principles
Holds NEBOSH General Cert or equivalent
Self-starter, ability to work independently
Ideally Experienced with management systems including ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
Ideally Health and Safety experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Additional experience within the following would be advantageous.
Experience with electronic PTW systems
Experience in developing and delivering training packages
Knowledge of COMAH/chemical manufacturing legal compliance
Working Hours 37 Hours per week Monday to Friday – Days
Salary Guide: £25k to £30k depending on Experience.
